When will it be time for me to truly be me? I feel like I’m sinking I’m in quicksand The more I struggle, the more I sink the more I sink, the more I struggle Vicious cycle! Then, I step outside myself I see where I’m headed I visualize my dream. I rally! I sit at my computer and I think
I search the internet for answers
How-to articles on what it takes
what is expected of me?
I think about my life and the paths I’ve chosen
Have my choices led me here? Denning—
like a bear?
Unconscious?
Am I asleep?
When will it be time for me to awaken?
When will it be time for me to truly be
me?
I feel like I’m sinking
I’m in quicksand
The more I struggle, the more I sink
the more I sink, the more I struggle
Vicious cycle!
Then,
I step outside myself
I see
where I’m headed
I visualize my dream. I rally!
True essense is revealed
True meaning is visible
It’s been here all along
I see
I am
Peace.
